Professor Helena Teede
Professor Teede is a clinician, academic and leader who has national and international leadership roles across the Health, Academia, Professional Societies, NGO, Government and Education sectors. She is committed to improvement in clinical care and public health. Recent roles include Head of Monash Diabetes and Health Care Improvement Lead at Monash Health. She is Executive Director of Monash Partners Academic Health Sciences Centre, Professor of Women’s Public Health and Director of the Monash Centre for Health Research and Implementation, Monash University, a member of NHMRC Research Committee, Health Care Committee and Translation Faculty committees, Cancer Council Advisory Board, Diabetes Australia Board and Clinical Advisory Committee and President of Endocrine Society of Australia. She has worked with NIH and WHO, has > 250 publications and 25 current and past PhD students. Her research interest is in the interaction between metabolic and reproductive health.
