Dr. Jessica Stranks
Dr Jessica Stranks is a Clinical Endocrinologist working in the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network. Having completed undergraduate medical training at the University of Adelaide and subsequently physician training at the Royal Adelaide Hospital with advanced training at Lyell McEwin Hospital and Flinders Medical Centre, she has also spent a year with the Central Northern Adelaide Renal and Transplant Service (CNARTS) as part of her advanced training in Endocrinology. She has research interests in diabetes and diabetic complications – specifically diabetic renal disease and the care of patients with diabetes on dialysis and following transplantation. She is currently undertaking a Master of Public Health and is heavily involved with both university and post-graduate teaching.
