Emma is a first year endocrine trainee completing her Required Clinical Year at John Hunter Hospital in Newcastle, NSW. She graduated from University of Newcastle with distinction, and has worked in regional and rural areas. Throughout her training she has had an interest in collaborative team practice, co-authoring two chapters on the topic. Emma has experience in research across a variety of topics including effect of novel cystic fibrosis treatments on glycaemic control in CFRD, metabolically healthy obesity and fasting hyperglycaemia in early pregnancy. Emma is also involved in lecturing and clinical teaching with the University of Newcastle.
